Hersham Place Signs New Occupier
A NEW company is to take residence at a thriving business hub operated near London by property and business solutions specialist Fasset.
STAMS Ltd, a provider of credit card insurance protection services, is moving the entire operation to Hersham Place Technology Park, Hersham.
The business is due to take occupancy at the 10-acre site near Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, and the offices will be ready for occupation from May onwards.
Approximately 80 STAMS’ staff will relocate from Esher just over two miles away.
Brigitte Baker, Fasset’s site sales executive, said: “We’re looking forward to STAMS’ arrival. This is good news for Hersham, generating employment on site and trade in the town at a time when the global economic downturn is affecting many lives.
“We already have 12 companies employing approximately 600 people between them, and STAMS’ arrival will increase the number of employees on site. Hersham Place continues to thrive as the leading business hub in the area.”
STAMS will occupy 6,300 sq ft of space on the first floor following completion of a six-figure bespoke fit-out program. The installation and commissioning of business specific IT systems is now underway.
Lease and rent arrangements for the fully managed space have not been disclosed.

Fasset’s 35-strong team at Hersham Place provide on-site services, such as reception facilities, IT, security, cleaning and catering, for the Parks tenants.
Other occupiers include Homeserve plc, Hydro Aluminium Holdings (UK) Ltd, Space Kitchens, A1 Lofts Ltd, Review Contracts Ltd, Avenir Ltd, TR Control Solutions, 50 Degrees North, Motion Analysis, Attwood Burton, Contrimex (Overseas) and InterMedia.
In April 2007 Fasset won a contract as Estates Manager to breathe new life into the 170,000 sq ft European headquarters of industrial gases giant Air Products at the London commuter belt town of Hersham.
Fasset specialises in creating and managing science and technology parks, turning costly surplus space, historically at corporate ‘legacy’ sites, into mixed serviced offices and fully managed space solutions for firms attracted to competitive, flexible leases and services and occupancy cost certainty.
Portsmouth-based Fasset manages 1.5 million square feet of facilities and business space for 31 companies employing 7,000 people between them in Surrey, Northamptonshire, Hampshire and Sussex.
